When COVID-19 struck, Sankalp Jyoti swiftly mobilized to provide essential relief to the most vulnerable populations in Bihar.
The COVID-19 pandemic brought unprecedented challenges to the marginalized communities we serve. Daily wage workers, migrant laborers, and the urban poor were among the hardest hit. Our team, despite the risks, went to the ground to provide immediate relief and long-term support.
From distributing cooked meals and hygiene kits to running community-wide awareness campaigns about safety protocols, Sankalp Jyoti's response was swift, comprehensive, and deeply personal. We also took the time to honour frontline heroes — health workers, sanitation staff, and police personnel — recognizing them as our "CORONA WARRIORS."

Served over 10,000 cooked meal packets to daily wage workers, migrant laborers, and urban poor families who lost their livelihoods during the lockdown.
Prevention
Mask & Hygiene Kit Drives
Distributed 5,000+ masks and 250+ hygiene kits in slums, market areas, and community centers to protect vulnerable populations from infection.
Awareness
Community Awareness Campaigns
Reached over 1,00,000 people through COVID safety awareness campaigns including proper mask usage, hand hygiene, and social distancing through miking, pamphlets, and door-to-door visits.
Honouring Our "CORONA WARRIORS"
During the darkest days of the pandemic, thousands of frontline workers risked their lives to keep our communities safe. Sankalp Jyoti took the initiative to formally recognize and honour these brave individuals.
We honored 500+ frontline workers — including healthcare workers, sanitation employees, police personnel, and essential service providers — as "CORONA WARRIORS" through felicitation ceremonies and certificate distributions.
Their dedication and courage served as an inspiration to the entire community, reminding us that humanity triumphs even in the face of adversity.
